Maintenance of Way Cars - D&RG / D&RGW Outfit Cars

One hundred fifty different narrow gauge work/outfit cars existed between the years 1919 and 1981, when the Silverton branch was sold. 17 complete cars remain in service today. These cars were used in a variety of ways: on the line for repair and construction, in the recovery of wrecks, delivery of company supplies, support of snow removal and in water service.
