laser-cut wood parts, brass wire, plastic nut/bolt detail,
laser-cut precise assembly jigs for rack assembly and deck
hole drilling, b&w and full color photos.

early or later strengthened version.

When the US Postal Service
got a look at the RGS's open railtruck, they threatened to
revoke the mail contract. The mail had to be carried in a
secure location. This is what the RGS came up with.
Easy to build. Laser-cut wood
with plastic details, and peel and stick roofing.
Removable, fits into stake pockets. Cab window frames
included. Railtruck not included.

trim and interior doors. Also includes door guard planks for
wall opposite cupola box.
Includes optional seat,
plastic hinge detail, and new full glazing sheet for the
doors. Slides right into the caboose
body.

SR&RL RR CABOOSE # 556- 558
for On2 / On30

These 3 almost
identical cars were built by the Maine Central
RR in 1913. Two of the cars survived the RR.
This is our 1st
correct size caboose kit, no compromises in size
here. Measured from the original 556 in
Phillips, Maine. Complete with full interior.
Details match the prototype.
These kits
consist of laser-cut plywood and basswood with
peal and stick parts. Kits also contain plastic
details including stove and brake
cylinder/reservoir, brass handrails and ladders,
scale looking draft gear.
Trucks and
couplers not included. Will require Kadee
#26 couplers and On2 or On30 trucks of your
choice.
