Introduction
The following photo's show the construction of the pilot model. As you would expect with a pilot model made from test etches some changes have been made for the production kits in light of experience.

The kit starts with these etches in brass and will include resin and whitemetal castings

The chassis is designed with horn blocks to allow removal of the wheels for painting

The prototype has a Portescap motor gear box "because we had one". The production models will recommend separate motor/gearbox combinations
