SMMW - Argent 20foot Gondola Car - 0n30/0n3

The Argent Lumber Company was a tight operation. When they needed a gondola they took a log car and built a Gondola body on it. This kit does the same with the log car kit described above. A resin frame supports a deck and sides made from precision cut lumber.

Latest kit in the Argent series is the water car. The kit consist of a gondola kit without the sides and a detailed resin cast water tank.

This long awaited kit from Jim King at SMMW has been well worth the wait. The kit consists of a one piece cast body, cast underframe and many detail parts.

Hamm River Heavy Duty Flat Car - 0n30

This is another EDM import. This kit has an all wood superstructure and comes supplied with Grandt details, Tichy Train Trucks and Jaybee wheels. Needs couplings to complete.

The all wood construction makes for an interesting change in modelling techniques. I have only built a model for 0n30 but I see no reason why 0n3 trucks couldn't be substituted.very limited availability

Injection moulded high impact polystyrene. With Tichy and Grandt Line details , NBW, turnbuckles, stirrups, Phosphor bronze grabs and brass end railings. Trucks, couplers, and decals not included, but chassis is designed for compatibility to Bachmann and others' detail products.
