Due to health problems the manufacturer cannot supply our orders in the quantities we require or to the time scales needed to make our selling of them viable.

We hope that in time their health improves.

We will keep in touch with them and if it becomes practical to re-stock them we will.

Chivers Finelines - Injection Moulded Plastic 0n30 Freight Cars

We're probably the biggest UK stockist of Chivers Finelines freight cars.

There are now three ranges:

16 foot long Logging series freight cars
O-16.5 British Outline freight cars
20 foot Long Series US style freight cars

Click on this picture to see what you get in a typical kit. Not shown in the picture are the metal wheels and brass bearings. The second picture shows just the trucks.

Stocks: These kits are made by a small cottage industry as a result supplies and stocks are erratic.

I used to try to keep the webpages updated with what stock we had to hand but this has proved both impossible and misleading. Either order what you want and I'll send you what I have or send an e-mail enquiring what stock we have.

Chivers are currently installing an auto injection moulder so once its up an running they should be self sufficient and stocks should improve.
