This
model was produced by Made by Fujiyama Kogyo Co Ltd in Japan for Pacific
Fast Mail. A date on the rear of the box suggests it was made in 1972
Model Condition.
The
body work is in good condition with slight signs of tarnish. The front
of the engine has a dummy knuckle coupler fitted. There is a dummy
coupler for the rear in the packaging but this is hasn't been fitted as
far as I can tell. Fitting a Kadee or similar doesn't look to difficult.
Performance.
This brass model runs nicely on my test track and on my rolling road. It
is a bit noisy by modern standards but this is probably due to it open
frame motor.
Packaging.
the
model is packed in its original box and foam and is wrapped in the
original clear plastic. The box and foam are in good condition with very
slight scuffing on the corners. |
