Placing an Order By Credit Card on line

This site now features on line ordering for credit card sales. When you click the "buy now" buttons the your items will be added to the shopping cart. When you have all the items you want in the shopping cart click the "go to payments" button and enter the details of your card. When you click the "continue" button a secure, safe and encrypted e-mail with all the details will be sent to us here.

Processing of Credit Card

We now use Hand-e-pay for our card payments

The shopping cart transfers your details securely to us and no money is deducted from your account until we physically process your order

Mail your your order and cheque to EDM Models, 19 Briar Avenue, Acomb, York YO26 5BX

Make your cheque payable to EDM Models and don't forget the shipping costs. {see next page for rates}

Actually Paying - Please Read

Usually we don't charge your card or cash your cheque until we ship the goods.

Once we have your order we will start to assemble the order. With many of the items being made to order we keep your details safe and process it as the order is ready to ship.

However, there are some exceptions detailed below: -

#Special Orders

If we are ordering an item in for you that we might not normally keep in stock or is being made especially for your order we reserve the right to charge your card or cash your cheque. This includes items from the Port Wynnstay range as these are made to order.

#Cheque

In principal we would not cash your cheque unless we either have the goods or are certain they are coming in and know the timescale. With our regular customers, i.e. known to us, this usually means we send the goods and pay the cheque in to the bank simultaneously trusting it will clear. However, we reserve the right to wait for the cheque to clear before sending the goods.

{we apologise for this worsening of terms. As usual its one person spoils it for all by ordering goods and then cancelling the cheque}

#Card

We won't charge your card until your order is packed.

There are exceptions to this such as when we order items directly for you from the USA or made to order items as detailed above.
